In the morning, start from Conference venue and drive to Munnar (around 4 hours’ drive). Enroute, stop at Cheeyappara waterfalls for a break.
Munnar, a haven of peace and tranquillity, is arguably the ideal starting point for exploring the unfathomable diversity and beauty of Kerala. It is a breathtakingly beautiful hill station, set at an altitude of 6000 ft in Idukki district of God’s own country, Kerala. Munnar was the favoured summer resort of the erstwhile British rulers due to its cool and comfortable weather. Bear witness to unending expanses of tea plantations, pristine valleys and mountains, exotic species of flora and fauna, and much more in Munnar.
On arrival, check in to hotel and relax. Later in the day, visit tea factory museum, Mattupetty Dam and Echo point. You can enjoy a speed boat ride at the artificial lake at Mattupetty.

In the morning, after breakfast, check-out and drive to Eravikulam National Park.
Eravikulam National Park: A sanctuary for the endangered mountain goat of South India, the Nilgiri Tahr. The Park stands out for the stark beauty of its rolling grasslands and sholas, spread over 97 sq. km in the Rajamalai hills. Anamudi, the highest peak (2695 m) in Western Ghats, and in South India towers over the sanctuary in majestic pride. The slopes of the hills abound in all kinds of rare flora and fauna. The Atlas moth, the largest of its kind in the world, is a unique inhabitant of the park. Other rare species of fauna found here are the Nilgiri Langur, the lion-tailed macaque, leopards, tigers, etc.
The rest of the day can be spent for shopping and independent activities.

In the morning, after breakfast, check-out and drive back to Conference venue/ Cochin airport.
