In the morning, start from Conference venue and drive to Alleppey (1-hour drive).
Alleppey, officially called Alappuzha, is a city in the South Indian state of Kerala. Bordering the Laccadive Sea, it is known for its wide network of interlinking, palm-fringed canals called backwaters, and rejuvenating Ayurvedic resorts. Alleppey is also popular for its houseboat cruises that pass through the serene backwaters, where you can catch glimpses of green paddy fields, coir-making, the beautiful avifauna, and witness the life of locals in Kerala.
By 12:00 noon, board a traditional Kerala houseboat to cruise along the backwaters of Alleppey. During the cruise, enjoy a close look at the engaging rustic life of the countryside. Witness the skilled fishermen launching their country boats, large flotillas of ducks waddling down to the water from thatched houses on the banks, and women catching fish with their feet, immersed in neck-deep waters.
The chef aboard the houseboat will prepare delicious Kerala lunch on board. Cruise till sunset, after which the houseboat will be anchored for the night. Dinner onboard the houseboat.

In the morning, after a brief cruise and breakfast, disembark the houseboat at 9:00 AM at Pallathuruthy Jetty, and drive to Kovalam (4 hours’ drive). Enroute, visit Trivandrum.
Trivandrum or Thiruvananthapuram is an ancient city with tradition dating back to 1000 BC. Thiruvananthapuram became the capital of the Raja of Travancore in 1750. The city gets its name from the word, Thiru-anantha-puram, meaning the abode of the sacred Serpent Anantha on which Lord Vishnu, the preserver of the Hindu trinity, reclines.
Places of interest in Trivandrum are Napier Museum, Shri Chitra Art Gallery, Kanakakunnu Palace, Padmanabhaswamy Temple, etc.
Kovalam is an internationally renowned beach with three adjacent crescent beaches. It has been a favourite haunt of tourists, especially Europeans, since the 1930s. A massive rocky promontory on the beach has created a beautiful bay of calm waters ideal for sea bathing. The tropical sun acts so fast that one can see the faint blush of coppery tan on ones’ skin in a matter of minutes.

In the morning, after breakfast, proceed for a day tour to Kanyakumari.
The southernmost end of the mainland of Indian subcontinent, Kanyakumari is an indispensable part of any South India tour. Kanyakumari, unique in itself for being amongst the very few places in the country where you could watch a sunrise and also a sunset sitting in the very same spot, is also famous for the Kumari Amman temple.
Vivekananda Rock- Much more than just a tourist attraction in Kanyakumari, Vivekananda rock is a sacred monument dedicated to Swami Vivekananda, one of the most revered spiritual leaders.
In the afternoon, drive back to resort, and enjoy the rest of the day on the beach

Check out in the morning, after breakfast, and drop off at Trivandrum International Airport to board your flight back home.
