DAY 01: COCHIN - KUMARAKOM

In the morning, start from Conference venue and drive to Kumarakom (2 hours' drive).

Kumarakom, a serenely beautiful and scenic backwater destination, is a charming peninsula jutting into the ever-effervescent Vembanad Lake that is dotted with traditional rice boats and canoes. The Vembanad Lake, with its majestic canals, streams and distributaries, weaves an intricate and enchantingly beautiful web, creating an immensely pleasing sight for the eyes. The gorgeous green of the fringed palms ripple in the blue waters and blend into the wavelets.

Upon arrival, check in to hotel. Enjoy the rest of the day at leisure, exploring the activities, and facilities available at the resort.

Overnight stay at Kumarakom.

DAY 02: KUMARAKOM -ALLEPPEY (DAY CRUISE) -COCHIN

In the morning after breakfast, check out and drive to Alleppey. (around 1 hr drive).

By 12:00 noon, board a traditional Kerala houseboat to cruise along the backwaters of Alleppey. During the cruise, enjoy a close look at the engaging rustic life of the countryside. Witness the skilled fishermen launching their country boats, large flotillas of ducks waddling down to the water from thatched houses on the banks, and women catching fish with their feet, immersed in neck-deep waters.

The chef aboard the houseboat will prepare delicious Kerala lunch on board. After the cruise, at 17:00 hrs, disembark the boat and drive back to Conference venue/ airport.

  • All road transportation by AC Sedan car as per the itinerary.
  • 1 night’s accommodation at 3-Star resort in Kumarakom.
  • Day cruise with lunch, tea & snacks in the traditional houseboat.
